The most important component of the NPA business is our permanent in-store merchandisers who, on a daily basis ensure:

• Product is on shelf and available to the customer.

• Stock is rotated, with new stock merchandised behind existing product.

•Outdated/damaged/recalled stock is removed from shelf, ensuring that the product range is presentable at all times.

• PI Labels are current.

• Products are merchandised according to store planograms.

• Placement, erection & maintenance of secondary displays.

• Cross-merchandising where possible.

• Relays supporting category range reviews.

• Audits are completed promptly and professionally through the use of their in-store devices.

Our dedicated, chain-specific representatives are mandated to ensure the following:

• Responsible order facilitation – Placing orders in line with chain/supplier agreed days stock cover.

• Availability – All listed products are available and on-shelf.

• Planogram compliance.

• Inventory control – Ensuring that physical stock matches the store system.

• Promotion compliance – Stores comply with promotional activity agreements and campaigns.

• Audits- Occur on a regular basis and are as accurate as possible for decision-making.

• Point-of-sale placement – As agreed between customer and supplier.

Our Reporting and Audit ability will ensure that our vendors receive a summary of the following, in numerous formats:

• On-shelf availability by product by store.

• Promotional compliance results.

• Sell-through data in value and volume.

• Ranging compliance.

• Sales trends and analysis of growth.

• Supplier-specific reviews.

Our NPA administration team facilitates the interaction between the Sales, Merchandising and Business Intelligence departments through:

• Collation and submission of orders to supplier and/or logistic provider.

• Customer service (Order delivery, product availability queries, etc.)

• Order processing.

• Arranging product returns/credit notes.

• Point-of-sale receiving, storage and dispatch.
